Dear Residents,
We would like to make you aware that Essex & Suffolk Water will be introducing a Temporary Use Ban (hosepipe ban), which comes into effect from 00:01 on Monday, 3 August.
As our park is supplied by Essex & Suffolk Water, these restrictions apply to all residents.
During the ban, the use of hosepipes for activities such as watering gardens, washing vehicles, cleaning patios and paths, and filling paddling or swimming pools is prohibited, unless a specific exemption applies.
You may notice members of our Maintenance Team using hosepipes/jet washers during this period. This is permitted under the Business Operations exemption. As the park operator, we are allowed to use hosepipes for commercial maintenance, health and safety requirements, and professional cleaning services that are necessary for the safe operation and upkeep of the park.
We appreciate that this may appear inconsistent, but these activities are specifically exempt from the restrictions and are essential to maintaining the park and ensuring the safety of residents and visitors.
We kindly ask all residents to comply with the hosepipe ban and help conserve water during this period. Your cooperation and understanding are greatly appreciated.
Thank you for your support.
Kind regards,
Customer Care Team
