To all residents of Sandy Bay,
I know some residents are already active members of one of the two u3a Canvey Island groups.
However, if you haven't heard of the u3a association or are not aware of what it does, then this could be the time to find out more about the local Canvey Island groups of the u3a.
Canvey Island u3a groups are associations of members who are no longer in full time employment, they are part of a UK-wide movement of locally run interest groups that provide a wide range of opportunities to come together to learn for fun. Members explore new ideas, skills, and activities together.
Looking for more things to do, make more friends or learn a new interest, then the local Canvey Island groups may be the place for you, regular monthly meetings and coffee socials are held. In addition, regular outings are organised and diverse interest groups cover subjects such as art, singing, quizzes, table tennis, etc.
