Sandy Bay Park Residents Association (SBPRA)

We are pleased to confirm that both Yellow Door and Canvey First Responders are now aware of our amazing fundraising for them.  We are arranging with them times and dates so that we can invite them over to Sandy Bay, where we can all meet and listen to what they do and how our money will help them

 

If you remember, we asked before Christmas  if any resident would like to benefit from First Responder Training,  it would be a "Nice to Know" course, eg, the basics in assisting others if they get into difficulty.   The Course is free, but we would have a collection box for those to donate if they wish.

 

I have been organising the fund raising for the last 3 years now, and have loved every funny, stress full, humbling moment of it, but I do feel that it is time for others to step forward and get involved. The fund raiser does not have to be on the RA Committee, this is a Sandy Bay Park initiative, not an RA one.  The park has grown and grown, and I am sure that there will be others who would love to get involved!

If you would,  (and it could be a group of you, not just one person,) then, do, please email back here and make yourself known.  This really needs to be agreed/organised by February. 

 

In the meantime, the Honesty Box is still in the bar, you can pop unwanted gifts/items onto the table, choose an item and pop a donation into the tin.
