Sandy Bay Park Residents Association (SBPRA)

Good afternoon all, we hope this finds you well.

 

Emmett Larner (Chairman), Linda Shillabeer (Vice Chair) and Tracey Wakeling (Secretary) met today with Tracy Clark, Andy Shuttler and Danny Duffy of Park Home Holidays, to discuss a couple of Park items.

 

ANPR and security:

As most of us are aware new and upgraded CCTV is being fitted around the park.  There will also be ANPR barriers fitted on the park, the date for this is approximately 3rd June.  All residents will be asked to provide their registration numbers to enable the ANPR to work successfully.  Please DO NOT give your registration numbers to the office until you are asked to do so.

 

All Households will be given Fobs to access the Barrier to gain access to and from the park.

 

New Facilities:

The new facilities have now been agreed and signed off by Sun Communities.  These plans will be submitted to Castle Point Council Planning within the next 2 to 3 months.  Once they have been submitted ALL residents will be given access to the plans.

The proposals for the new larger facilities will comprise of offices, reception area, a larger bar, a larger kitchen, seating for 200 people, standing for 400 people, with seating for 100 people outside.  A new indoor pool, spa and steam room.  

This building will be a much improved venue, able to accomodate more people in an enhanced, pleasant environment, allowing more of us to meet and enjoy the facilities.

 

We have no additional information to give you, we know this email will raise lots of questions, but until we all see the finalised plans we are not able to give any more information.
