We have been advised there may be some construction noise in the coming weeks resulting from improvements being made to the Oikos site on Canvey Island. This is part of ongoing works to upgrade the facility in accordance with the highest environmental safety standards. Works have taken place over the past 24 months to ensure the site continues to set industry-leading safety environmental standards.

 

The removal of 24 small oil storage tanks have been approved by the Environment Agency & Castlepoint Borough Council. Oikos are writing to apologise in advance for any noise generated by the removal of the tanks. The project is due to be completed by the end of May. (We currently don't have a start date).
