Canvey Island u3a is an association of members who are no longer in full time employment, it is part of a UK-wide movement of locally-run interest groups that provide a wide range of opportunities to come together to learn for fun. Members explore new ideas, skills and activities together.
Looking for more things to do, make more friends or learn a new interest, then the local Canvey Island branch may be the place for you, regular monthly meetings and coffee socials are held. In addition regular outings are organised and thirty plus interest groups cover subjects as diverse as art, singing, quizzes, table tennis, etc.
The Canvey Island branch of the u3a will be belatedly marking its 10th anniversary with an open day at a coffee social on Friday 1st July.
The open day will be held at Smallgains Hall between 2.00pm and 4.00pm. Please drop in, have a drink and meet up with members of the Canvey Island u3a to find out more!
