Sandy Bay Park Residents Association (SBPRA)

Hello everyone,

My name is Jackie and I live in Shell Drive.

Like many of you, I will be on 'nanny duties' during the 6-week holidays and when they visit, I often have a picnic with my grandchildren on the green in front of the sea wall, at the bottom of Coastal and Seafarer.

My grandchildren love having a picnic there, and I thought it might be an idea to hold a big picnic during the school holidays for all nannies, grandads and grandchildren to attend, so that residents can get to know one another and the grandchildren get to meet and play with each other.

Date: Monday 17^th August from 12.30pm (weather permitting)

Items to bring:

• A picnic for your family
• Blanket/s
• Chairs if required
• Games (bat and ball etc.) but if you bring any games with you, can I suggest you mark them with your address in case any go astray!

I will bring some black bags to ensure we take our rubbish with us.

There are no tickets, everyone is welcome, and there is no age limit for the children.

There is no cost to this, just bring yourselves along for a natter and some fun!

Dear Residents,

Further to the email we forwarded earlier today, on behalf of Jackie, regarding the upcoming picnic, we would like to provide you with an update.

Following negative feedback received from a number of residents via Customer Care the location of the picnic has been changed. The event will now take place on the green in front of the pool.

Date: Monday 17^th August from 12.30pm (weather permitting)

We have also received many positive responses about the event and hope it will be an enjoyable occasion for everyone attending.
