Sandy Bay Park Residents Association (SBPRA)

Oktoberfest was first celebrated in 1810 in the Bavarian region of Germany to commemorate a royal wedding, and included five days of horse races, folk singing, and beer ... lots of beer.  Over the years, Oktoberfest has become a more general celebration of German culture and food that's recognized around the world.  It is still held annually in Munich, from approximately the middle of September until the first Sunday in October.

Sandy Bay Residents can enjoy the event closer to home, 'under the arches' at The Sandy Bay Bar & Restaurant.  So please join us for fun afternoon.  We will have Clayton to entertain us with some oompah music as well as some fun sing along songs.  🎵 💃🕺
