We have received some information today from a resident who has some knowledge of a new pilot scheme being run by Millbrook and Adult Social Care at Essex County Council. Millbrook supplies falls pendants/falls sensors etc. to clients with health conditions or who have had falls.

They are offering the equipment and service free of charge for however long the pilot scheme goes on for, at present we understand that there is no end date for this.

When the scheme finishes, people will be able to keep the service at the average going rate per month or have the option of returning the equipment without charge.
